I always liked that quote. So much time gets spent snapping back at life’s external stimuli. This happens, you respond, over and over and over.
It’s an exhausting way to be, It’s always made me jealous of planners. Those people that can lock in on something and just go do it,go get it.
Maybe reactionary types are just less evolved.

Saying, if you were a caveman, fighting for your life against nature, paranoia would be helpful. Hypomania would be very useful during a hunt.It would keep you alive.
Genetics freak me the fuck out. Just that fact that human traits travel through time.How bizarre is that? Think of all the people you have a piece of inside you. How many sins? How many victories and triumphs?
I suppose it’s a beautiful thing, truly nature at work,but jesus, it’s an overwhelming thing.Thinking about blood traveling back in time.
we’re all muts and that’s what nature intended.Spread out and diversify. I really enjoy looking at other cultures,how they live,interact,food,music,attitudes.
