I remember going into a music store in the late ’90s, And there was this blue one hanging on the wall.
“what the fuck is that ?”
I picked it up and strummed a chord.
Wow… Plays like an electric guitar 🎸
Of course I didn’t have any money, was nowhere near a place of thinking about money..
But I thought..
I’ll put it on my list.
I really like how this feels and how this sounds, someday I’ll get one..
Then I learned this other trick…
You take two acoustic guitars, and you buy a set of 12 string.
You put the six low on one guitar, and the six high on the other guitar.
Tune accordingly.
Then you record the same track on both guitars and hard pan them..
Makes for a really cool effect, Like your ears are sitting between the high and low strings on a 12 string.
Pat taught me that.
