A man driving a vehicle worth three times my life, he applied his brakes as did I so we would give this Ford ranger plenty of room to negotiate a simple u turn.
Three tries, a three-point turn, then the ranger plows over the curb to complete the u-turn.
This man ,worth so much more than me, we caught each other’s eyes watching this U-turn trying to happen.
I wore a dumb look on my face, it was natural, I looked over at the wealthy man and he had the same perplexed look on his face.
We laughed deeply from within our respective vehicles, our paths and journeys couldn’t be more different,, but watching this dumb shit unfold connected us for just a moment.
