Adventure is a neat word,not really the word,but what it represents.
Another word that I think English got wrong.
Doesn’t seem to summarize what it is ,not well at least.
Or the feeling it invites.
Seems youthful, the whole thing, seems like the undertakings of a person young and wild.
Less of that as you get older,and maybe that’s Death’s trick.
Easier to hang it up.
Lay in bed.
Play in the headphones for you and only you.
(that’s still adventure)
