A mother’s intuition. You can’t tell a woman that she shouldn’t have reproduced. “if you would have taken one good look at your family tree, you would have seen the genetic predispositions .”
You can’t say that. Especially to the single human that has been the source of consistent love. Perhaps unhealthy love. Still love.
I was really into the idea that we’re over-populating this planet,that there is simply too many of us and the vast majority never needed to exist in the first place.
I think I was wrong, and I think that being a parent or step-parent is probably the coolest thing. You get to tell them the truth.
