Is there a mantra that really works?

Do you know what a mantra is?

Some shit you repeat over and over again in your head. A small phrase.

They’re supposed to be secret, you’re not supposed to tell people your internal phrase.

Mine change.

I don’t mind telling secrets because “who cares?”

If someone pushes themselves, there’s likely a phrase being muttered, audibly or not.

For a very long time ,mine has been “I hate you”.

Seems to offer a bit a fuel.

More recently, it has morphed into something a little weirder.

“you’re going to die”

Internal, not projecting homicidal vibes.Just constantly reminding,

(you’re going to die)

How do you not listen to that voice?

Where’s the middle ground of acceptance?

Accepting mortality but not speeding it up? Giving a fuck about your temple but remembering that nothing lasts?

How the fuck is a person supposed to think about business when that carnival is Happening every second of every day? (No proofread,go fuck yourself)

Death doesn’t push me, but it does wake me up a bit.

“a bitch is a bitch” that’s a good one too. Without even having gender assigned to it.

“you’re a bitch and I scrape you off my shoe”

Monkey mind, distraction compulsion.Jiggling keys in front of a baby. Exhale and the gnashing of teeth. Non permanence and the sacred act of sorting it out, hmmmmmm 🤔

I don’t apologize for that 🙏

I apologize for playing, but not for trying .

“you’re wrong”

That’s another of my favorite chants, because you can use it as internal or external or both. It’s always right, because we’re always wrong.

It’s good to tell yourself and it’s also good to tell others. I’ll tell it to you right now.

“you’re fuckin wrong”

And so am I.

Now we’re at a lovely little level.

Love that.

Discontent.

Dis – an insult

Con- a manipulator trying to gain through the weakness of others.

Tent-a place to live, a place of shelter, dry and safe.

An insulting manipulator in his safe space.

Discontent.
