Something funny, my first recording PC was a Dell, I could plug a guitar and microphone directly into the back of it and it worked 1,000% of the time. Perfectly fine, no audio interface no b*******,, then computers changed. You couldn’t do that anymore, you had to purchase the external equipment and then pop the hood of the machine to dial the settings in. Pretty fucked up. It worked just fine, back in the day
