It’s pretty crazy that there would be a war, where both sides spoke the same language.

War of Independence, war of whatever..

To look at the guy on the other side..

“hey what’s up?”

And for him to be able to understand you.

“nothing much, Just trying to kill each other”

That’s wild.

At least with different languages there’s a disconnect, a level of detachment.

You don’t even know if they’re human, You can’t even understand them.

You don’t know anything about them, and they can’t tell you.

But English on English?

Weird.

We’re basically brothers.

But we’re gonna hate, And we are going to listen and blindly follow these peculiar figureheads..

Then we’re going to kill each other.

Land, resources, religion.

I think it can warp your mind a little bit..

And I think it’s all a game.

And your home team can’t possibly be the correct side…every single time.

Throughout every conflict.

Forever.

It can’t.

Wave that flag, gas up that pickup, buy yourself some ammunition…

It is statistically impossible to always be on the right side.

And history is written by the victors..

So, it’s a lie.

To kill and die for.

Kinda makes me sick, that everyone can’t be like I am..

(Nobody wants that)

Still… You would have more people leaving each other alone.
