Alright, it’s time to come clean and just admit it.
I need help..
I’ve got a 4 channel switcher (starting with the signal chain)
from there, it splits into
1.the fractal
2.the headrush.
3. the effect chain
4. the dry out
So,,,,gotta think this through, gotta think it through.
You want your tuning first (obvi)
From there it hits the sustain pedal, nothing saturating the fx send/;return on the plus pedal, just dry guitar on a digital sustain pedal (think David Gilmour)
After the sustain pedal, you want slow gear, auto swell, anything that changes the attack/decay.
This is going to get complicated (try to keep up)
1.Electroharmonix attack/decay.
2.Strymon Timeline
3. Hologram Chroma console.
3 Three things for one effect, and each of those boxes have multiple uses (delay, mod, pitch, tremelo etc)
But what I’m after is the volume swell, the slow gear effect.
After the gear is slowed, we move on to delay.
For this , the Chase Bliss Mood mk2 really is impressive.
Just the stereo split, the ease of manipulation, the auto pitch shift into whatever key is played.
Volume swell, to stereo, to infinity.
AT this point we’re about a third of the way through the chain, and I haven’t even gotten into the MIDI sync or the MISO (mono in, stereo out)
It’s just too much, it’s all too much to think about 😔😔😔
And honestly a good chunk of time and money seeking out a sound.
You just wanna sound like you.
Carry that to the grave.

one very long pedal chain, and sidechain,,,and quad chain.
Very complicated.
But I love it.
And it makes me happy.
