Whatever you put yourself into, you gotta try to “make it sing”.

I think people confuse this with “make it resonate”

Meaning, make something that others notice, and appreciate. Something that gets felt, because it’s true.

I’m not really interested in that.

Because I don’t like them.

I say make it sing for yourself, do it for you. The concept of others is a fickle thing, and honestly they’re not worth the time.

If you cling on to the validation you’ll always be in a deficit, because there’s not enough validation in the fucking world.

I don’t want to operate that way.
