The ocean will eat everything eventually. If you just watch how it works, really seems hungry. Seems like each wave approaching a beach takes a teeny tiny bite out of it.

Maybe just a few grains of sand.

But you learn, in construction,

Go to the mountains and look at waterfalls carved through Stone.

Years upon years of motion and movement, cuts a path eventually.

So yes, perhaps the ocean will eat much of the Earth.
