I went to the next town over and I found a tree on some power lines.
Everything is dark.

Still the infernal sound of traffic.
Still the sound of 18 wheelers engine breaking.
Still the sound of goods being shipped to and fro.
Can’t hunt nothing in this.
If It was the apocalypse and if you were starving, the traffic would have to go away first.
Probably within a month, most people would run out of fuel quicker than that.
Probably a few weeks…
It would be horrible.

You’d have to be adaptive. You’d need the skill to shift on a dime, roll with the punches, all that stuff.
I imagine speechcraft wouldn’t do you much good.
You’d have to be a “doer”.
Imagination might become a tool, something needed to out-think your competitors.

You shouldn’t use bad words, but telling someone that they can’t write them down in their diary seems like a bit much.
It seems like a person letting the outside have too much control.
Particularly when you’re talking about words.
