Fucking around with audio really does make me happy, video too. Even something as dumb as YouTube clips, editing is fun. You get to feel a little bit of god power. Create, destroy, rip apart and build again. I enjoy that very much. I’ve had a few freelance gigs, running sound for Live bands, I get into it. Even if I’m not crazy about the music being performed 🎵 I get way into the power trip of being in control of the sound waves,right as they leave the speaker 🔊
Maybe some narcissistic shit, I dunno, even being unseen,I still enjoy it. Possibly more. Hiding out behind a mixer board, dialing EQ,pan, subtle on-board effects.

Fingers on faders, the most novel crusaders, shaving the pitch, keeping eyes on the clips, monitor the decibels, feel bass in the testicles . When Friday comes around, I only give a fuck about sound.
