All of the commands in AutoCAD have shorthand macros.

So you start to stock all these little phrases in your head.

PL equals polyline.

R o t equals rotate.

F  equals filet

F i l l e t r a d equals for a radius, determining the degree in which your curves bend.

It’s similar to playing guitar, You remember all these little things to do what you want to do.

The human brain does that well.

Remembers lingo, shorthand, sort of a code language.

Like, I don’t know much about cars. If I went to a mechanic shop it would feel like they were speaking a foreign language to me.

Some people’s brains are very good at picking up that language.

Which makes you useful in the workforce, if you can really understand what in the blue f*** you’re talking about.

Does this seem silly to you?

Seems silly to me, they’re everywhere
