Alright,, now that I’m feelin groovy, let’s fuck around.

I want to start by thinking of the class system, easy to visualize, the socioeconomic blah blah blah.

George Carlin had a fantastic piece about it, the poor being there to scare the shit out of the middle, to keep them showing up to those jobs…

So…

Young people do drugs, for whatever reason fits the individual, all those sad backstories, all those explorers , all those rebels.

If a young person gets popped with drugs, real drugs, their entire life-trajectory is thrown.

Forget school, forget career path, forget all the potentials,,,

You’re flipping burgers,

You’re digging ditches,

You are “menial”..

At the same time, the State is profiting off your probation, court appointed rehabs are profiting off your drug use, the court is profiting off the times you have to sit in front of a judge.

ANd you’re stuck.

You are locked into the lower class,

You are keeping the lower class well populated .You are adding into the sea of faces needed to keep the middle moving.

I’d imagine,, not one loving parent ever visualized their precious baby falling into those ranks..

Not one pictured the adult version of their kids begging for money..

Drugs are bad..

I don’t think that’s true.

I think your’e fucked up and you found something that works.

Tragic, logic, all the same.

Some of my favorite artists are the ones that went way out there, and there might be brilliance at the core of a few.

But you’re fucked.
