Pentecostals are fond of this one phrase in the Bible, describing the Holy Spirit.
Something about
“Whenever two are more are gathered in my Name, my spirit will be there”
Something like that.
So under observation?
A group.
Two or more people constitute a group, and something happens when humans are grouped up.
Maybe it’s communication,
Maybe the spirit of god is mankind’s ability to talk to each other and progress .
Like god wouldn’t show up if you were a loner…
But it’s not god, it’s “the spirit of god”
The Holy Spirit ,,
Which is complicating an already complicated hypothetical mechanism.
So there’s God,
He hangs out on the throne.
Then there’s Jesus,
The equivalent of Commander William River. God’s number one.
Nobody gets into the party unless they’re invited… you have to be cool with Commander Riker, then you get the handstamp..
And lastly,,,,
A spirit.
A ghost, a specter, an ethereal fog..
“Holy”
God’s exhaled bong rip..
A Holy Ghost,,a floating voodoo.
Mental.
Spiritual.
Something in your heart.
And they say to listen to your heart.
Intuition, gut,,
This is where things get complicated .
Because the heart is the head..
The things you feel is just part of the mind.
Therefore…
You get so much insanity.
You get homeless people believing that they commune with God.
That they are part of his plan,
Nothings believing that they’re somethings??
(Where’s your humanity?)
Nah, i don’t see it that way.
I see it as a slip of the mind, albeit a common slip.
There’s a big fucking door right there, and that door was placed externally.
The mind walked through it..
This poor mind, of this poor person,
Gave in. And thought about it into oblivion..
The Holy Spirit is possibly mental illness.
Possibly.
So, of the trinity,,,likely the most dangerous.
ANd it exists when “two or more are gathered in his name”
Group think.
The world creator and the destroyer of worlds..
“You HAVE to be gathered with other people, if you wanna get down with religion…and feel like there’s a point to this..”

Maybe ya gotta serve somebody.
Makes you feel like you’re on some kind of path,, like you’re doing something with meaning….
I dunno…
