The people that paid me

The people I work for, the way they started,,,

The woman worked for a distributor, she was the counter girl, a checkout lady.

Somewhere else an old man left a no-name company to his son .

The son would go to the distributor to buy parts, after a while, he decided he wanted to bang the counter girl.

Think they both had two divorces under their belts.

After they got married, they realized that they had huge tax loopholes sitting on the table.

She was a woman, and she was half lumbee Indian.

Native American.

So they put the company in her name, which is a lot of trust on his part, But by being a minority, woman owned business, it opened up the possibilities to government contracts.

Then they brought in a ambitious young guy.

A guy that wanted to take over everything.

Super good in tests, super good as the salesman, super good with connections.

Fast forward 10 years, and here we are.

I paid my dues about six or seven years ago.

Fought the good fight when we were very small, lived out of hotels for a very long time…

I have been a loner for a hot minute now.

So here we are.

Just like that, snap of the fingers.

I’m proud of them in a way, they played the system,

But no actual work was done, not from the perspective in which I see work.

It’s all thinking.

All presentation, all image and talk.

And now the three of them have their feet up.

Forever and ever, amen.

Just risk taking, just self-starting, just motivation and desire.

Very American.

Can’t really hate on it.

But they are absolutely business first..

You’ll never see a famous nihilist, there’s a reason for that, stupid.

Think about it.

There’s a reason that is never supposed to happen.

Driving past an open field, vast, desolate road.

And what do you see out in the middle of the field?

A German Shepherd banging another German Shepherd.

Naturally.

And they’re both staring back at you, like somehow, You’re you’re the asshole In this situation.

And if you think about it, you kind of are.

They’re just doing what nature does, you’re the one sitting in a construct of metal, traversing the landscape off of a combustion engine.

Natural versus unnatural.

Super weird.

Being alive is super weird.

I’m not mad at the German shepherds.

I assume they have an owner, and the owner didn’t want to get them fixed. Or they’re both fixed, they’re just banging for the fun of it.

I like to imagine it’s the latter.

I’m pretty stupid 👍

This entire time, I could have been buying used music gear.

There’s no moving parts, wear and tear really isn’t much of a factor.

You don’t have to have the shiny new thing.

Function is what matters.

Don’t fall in love for the looks ❤️

I have no idea how I slept on Meris.

I feel like such a fool.

It’s looking like they make the exact type of things that I’ve been looking for.
