The Machine + really is my most advanced piece of gear ( minus the DAW PC)
Tough to simplify exactly how the thing operates.
Basically, you can route audio in/out, simultaneous with MIDI in/out.
Sooooo
3 pieces of gear.
Machine for beats and a recoding station.
Korg Minilogue XD for synth (which Machine also has in it)
Then Fractal for all guitar .
SO basically those three things, that’s all you need, and this Thermos.
You take MIDI, on the pads, get it arranged and quantized, then you send it to the Synth, then you send the synth audio back into the sample engine of Maschine…

It can sound like you’re an intelligent keyboard player with a very elementary understating of Chord formula or music theory.
Pick some chords, smarter chords than you could think up on your own, arrange them, send them to the synth, then record guitar tracks over your little creation.

It is an absolutely amazing time to be alive,
One could press an album on a fucking IPad, if one were so inclined.
Shit man, I know a guy that recoded and gigged songs recorded on an IPhone 4.
Pretty nuts.
Tech ain’t all bad.
